The Paediatric First Aid course is designed to provide individuals working with children and infants in childcare settings with the knowledge and skills required to manage medical emergencies effectively.

This course is fully compliant with Ofsted requirements and is ideal for nursery staff, childminders, teachers, and anyone responsible for the care of children. It ensures that participants can respond confidently to a variety of medical situations involving children, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

This blended learning course combines 6 hours of practical training with 6 hours of pre-course e-learning that can be done in your own environment. The course is completed in 2 parts:

Part 1: E-learning prior to the practical element of the course. You will receive log in details to access our online learning platform that will take you through multiple theoretical aspects. You will receive a certificate of completion for this element of the course. This should take approximately 6 hours to complete.

Part 2: You will then attend a Practical Training Day which will be delivered by one of our highly experienced and engaging Paramedic instructors. Using their real-life experiences, they are able to bring this course to life, ensuring that all delegates are able to feel confident and competent upon completion of the course.

Practical training will be adapted to suit the learning needs of the delegates so that everybody has the same opportunities to succeed. This day will take 6 hours to complete with regular breaks. Timings can be flexible to suit the needs of the client.
